How is Your Service Completely Free for Families?

The short answer is simple: You, the family, never pay us a fee.

Our service is entirely complimentary to the family because we operate on a performance-based, commission model. When a client we refer moves into one of our partner communities, that community compensates us with a referral fee.

Who Pays the Fee, and How is it Calculated?

The senior living community (facility) pays the fee. This is an industry-standard business arrangement.

The fee is typically calculated as a significant portion of the resident's first month's rent (often ranging from 50% to over 100%) and is paid directly by the community to the agency. A portion of this amount is then paid as a commission to the individual advisor who helped facilitate the placement.

Key Considerations for Full Transparency

We recognize that because fees can vary between communities, an inherent conflict of interest can exist in the referral industry. Our core commitment means we prioritize the client's best care fit over the commission amount. We maintain strict internal policies, training, and a broad, carefully-vetted partner network to ensure our recommendations are always based on your loved one's clinical, social, and financial needs—not the size of the fee.

Legal Compliance and Disclosure

This referral fee model is common and legal in most jurisdictions. We adhere strictly to all state-level regulations. For example, in states like California, these agencies are often licensed and legally required to disclose their financial relationships to families, reinforcing our commitment to operating with full transparency and authority.

Move-in & Prior Contact

The community only pays a fee if the placement is successful. Communities also typically have contractual rules protecting them from paying a fee if the resident was already an active prospect of theirs or was referred by another source. This ensures that the compensation is directly for the value of the introduction and time we provided.

In essence, we act as a specialized, compliant marketing and placement extension for our partner communities, receiving a standard industry payment for filling a vacancy. This enables us to provide expert, no-cost guidance to you.
